hey all..
picked up my new berlina today
its in VERY good condition...
i dont kno the colour of it but paints in good nick, no fades etc
the interior is spot on with one little cigarette burn in the back, the electric mirrors dont work tho.. how can i fix that?
its completely stock besides a "sports" exhaust which will be replaced with a full system off my old vl..
other then that i couldnt be happier

i'll update as it goes along and pics during the week..

mirrors could be a fuse or the electrics switch checked those?

looks nice and looks to be imperial blue get the paint code and search the options thread in the tech section. also before you go doing much else pull out the option sheet from the driver (and or passenger) footwell under the carpet that will give you an insight into what your car is!

hmmm nah i havent had time yet to check everything.. will do this w.e
and the exhaust size is 2.5 i think... but its a bit sluggish at lower revs...

got a pic from when i picked it up.. i put my venetians in today and my sub.. few little things.. maybe replace the catback later today if i feel like it.. new pics tmoz!

my cars running a bit rough, not ideling right and its feeling a bit sluggish especially at lower revs. my mate thinks the timing is out and said i just get a timing light and move the bolt above the dizzy... i cant get hold of a timing light till at least the w.e, is there any way of adjusting the timing without one? the bolt looks likes its been moved before( pic ) should i move the bolt back to the "orignal" spot? i dont really know what to do?

looking great, get into the engine bay with some degreaser and metal polish, autosol the inlet mani and what not it would look schmick.

what i am doing to my wagon - chrome bolts and washers everywhere.
it already has a battery bag and a new washer / overflow bottle.

i was bored so i put some ultra lows in the back today... looks alright... can anyone recommend some shockers i should use in the back? i think the ones it are still the factory ones... it makes a clunking sound over speedhumps now and im sure its the shockers(ive triple checked the springs are in right)... i cant really afford any for a couple of weeks so do you think i should just chuck the std springs back in?

uhh changed my mind.. im just gunna put the stock springs back in it till i can afford to have it done right...

ive got superlows in mine and i get some clunks over bumps and stuff

i wonder if you need shorter shocks

dude ive done front springs once before cu*t of a job lol. i paid
a mechanic $80 to do my front springs in my vl . my driveway is like a ski slope lol

looks real nice with the black ceptors, suits very well. I dont like that red trim on the moulds. would look much cleaner without it, my opinion

looks awesome with venetians and black 15"s are they 6 wide or 7?
also love the berlina pinstriping it should not be removed.

yeah i'll be doing that too when i get some spare cash... yeah my driveway sucks.. doesnt help living on gladstone road either

thanks, i dont mind the ceptors atm i gotta give them a proper coat of paint tho.. just did a rush job lol

yes i love the venetians! lots of my friends think it looks silly... weird ppl:S
as far as i know theyre just standard ceptors, dunno how wide they are.

yeah my housemates give me crap for venetians as well i tell them they are girls, 1 drives an mgf and the other doesn't have l plates so what do they know about cars? i think venetians are certainly a niche scene though.
