need help connecting tv to a car!
hello.
i am looking to install a nice 19 or so inch tv in my cr i need help on were i plug and tht. do i go straight to battery with a fuse? or connect to cigarette lighter. pl plz help someone who knows |

you need a converter,, the tv will be 240v which the car only has 12v

yeah that convertor will work... but have you bought the tv for it yet?
the reason i ask is many lcds you buy now are actually 12v internally, they plug into 240v with a convertor on the plug or in the line, this box will normally have written on it its output in volts and power draw in amps. if you look for a lcd with this it will save you having to get a convertor at all ohh... and thanks for the kind words zac

hey man... just looked at that link and in the photo of the rear of the screen it clearly says DC 12v... so yeah if that is the back of the ACTUAL screen yes its perfect..
